Free community relations between OpenBSD and Linux are at risk of cold. In an interview with Forbes, Theo de Raadt, OpenBSD creator, denounced the poor quality of the Linux kernel.
OpenBSD comes from BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution), a Unix variant that also served as a motor to Mac OS X and Solaris. Like their cousins, NetBSD and FreeBSD, the system competes with Linux distributions.
